The amenities provide a comfortable transition between flights and traveling 25 mins to the South shore (Kihei /Wialea) great beaches snorkeling plus the La Perouse hike 25 mins drive to one of my favorite hikes Waihee ridge trail 20 mins to Iao valley 25 mins to the Kaanapali, Kapalua area. Do the Westside which bags less hiking options. But still has amazing beaches and surfing 40 mins to Makawao Forrest Papalaua Wayside Park . Traditional tent camping on the beach.
